hey hey taxi! not gonna talk about the variety show that channel U has installed for us, just watch it if u wanna know whether its nice or not. dun ask mi, one man's meat is another man's poisen(pardon me if im wrong with the phrase, my english is not that fantastic) i'll just be ranting about my taxi exoeriences with singapore taxi drivers. let's start off with nice ones. you board the taxi, nice uncles greet u with a hi, ask u politely where u wan to go, den asks u how to go, when u say anything, they will inform u of the route they are going, so nice of them rite? den u just sit thru the ride. some will tok a lil and joke a lil its totally fine and entertaining at times. then the cheerful uncle will even greet u "good bye" "have a nice day" "good nite" i have this neighbour of mine who is a taxi driver too, she's a lady, but she's friendly(issit because she's my neighbour) remember the world travel fair i had in school, she was so kind to send me to school(i bpay duh) but there's no surcharge, no booking fee, so nice of her rite? i took her cab to school like 3-4 days cos i had so many things to bring *digress* some taxi drivers go overboard and start complaining every single shit they can to you. that's not fun" ******* that's all i can say about the nice taxi drivers i've seen. usually ive seen more bad ones. 1. taxi driver scolded me because i only had one $50 note. he said he just started driving and then happily pushed the blame on me. he FORCED me to go find somewhere to find change. so he drove ard and fucking charge me while he was driving ard too! na bei. 2. taxi drivers can stop by the roadside during bus lane operations to pick up passengers, but they cant freaking stop u by the roadside during bus lane operations because they might get fined. what the hell is wrong with their logic? they can stop to pick u up, but cant stop to let u alight? nonsense! so we passengers will stand in the carpark to hail a taxi if we're lucky one driver decides to go in? cos they are not suppose to stop during bus lane operating hours. 3. sleepy uncles. totally understand that its hard to earn money, taxi rental is not cheap(actually i tink its quite alrite) oil is expensive and stuff. but please dun risk BOTH your life and my life. if u had the intentions of dying, pls go by all means and not bring some stranger along with you. you drive all day and all night. you feel sleepy. you wan to drink some water, you want to take a mint to make yourself better by all means go ahead, no one is stopping you. BUT do u have to do such things while you're driving? when your vehicle is moving? using only the sides of your hands to control the steering wheel. it freaks me out. it freaks people out you know? |
